More than just a job…
You feel it – that quiet tension between your faith and your job. You show up for work and get on with your responsibilities: building, selling, leading, creating. Yet deep down you question how much this matters to God.
The Year of Transformation is for anyone asking questions like:
- Is my daily work making a meaningful difference when much of it just feels ordinary?
- I know I’m called to represent Christ, but how do I do that in a workplace where faith isn’t always understood or welcomed?
- My experience of work is often challenging, exhausting or just about survival. Is it possible to have joy and purpose in this setting?
Through a year-long journey of guided discipleship, biblical teaching, and Spirit-led formation, this programme will equip you to reshape how you see your work and live out your calling as a work-based minister.
You won’t do this alone
Transformation happens in community. Throughout the year you’ll learn alongside other Christians wrestling with many of the same questions about faith and work, and you’ll have a mentor helping you process what God is teaching you in the particular circumstances of your own working life.
Testimonies of Transformation
Hear from members of our first Year of Transformation cohort about what God did through their year.
“The programme helped me develop a habit of praying for my workplace in general, but also praying in the moment during day-to-day activities like in meetings and for the things that happen in the workplace throughout the day and how that impacts people. I feel like I’ve been equipped for life, not just for here and now, but I’ve gained tools that I can use throughout my future career.”
“I’ve learned that when I partner with God from a place of submission, I can make changes in my place of work that align with His Kingdom. For example, in the past I would have publicly called my colleague out for her behaviour in a meeting, but now I stop and ask myself, ‘What would love do in this situation? What is the loving way to approach this colleague in order to help her?’”
“God used the teaching throughout the year and the people on the programme who spoke into my life to challenge my assumptions and expose to me where I was relying on myself and not on God. When I was out of work, I received encouragement from my mentor that this would be a time when I would discover what God could really do when I trusted Him.”
