About the School of Work-Based Ministry
The School of Work-Based Ministry was launched in 2025 as the training and equipping arm of Worship.Works. It came as a response to what we were witnessing God do in activating His Church in the faith + work movement.
Over the years, we have met many Christians who have a desire and a sense of call to serve God by using their gifts, skills and passions in the context of their day-to-day work. We love this vision of the Church being active across every sector of society Monday to Saturday! But at the same time, we’re also hearing that many believers don’t feel equipped in how to do this or perhaps don’t have a vision of the impact they can make for God’s Kingdom and His glory.
Training Opportunities
Our 6-part video course – Introduction to Work-Based Ministry – is a fantastic starting point for someone who wants to gain a theology of work and build a Biblical framework for how to approach daily work as ministry.
For someone who wants to take that next step in being equipped and go deeper in their understanding of Work-Based Ministry, we run two programmes that offer an applied theology – Year of Transformation and the Graduate Programme. These are immersive training opportunities where our team will help you put what you learn about work from the Word of God directly into practice in your work context.
Our priority is to deliver our programmes within a discipleship community where we learn and grow together as we allow the truth of God’s Word to challenge and change us first, and then overflow through us to impact the world around us.
